If you've just started orthodontic treatment, you've probably noticed that eating food in the first days is a bit difficult and painful. This is completely normal and gets better after a few days.

This plan is designed to reduce pain and pressure and provide proper nutrition in the early days of orthodontics. By following this three-day meal plan, you can get through the initial treatment period more comfortably.

Why is Diet Important in the First Days?

In the first days after installing braces or adjusting wires:

  • Teeth and gums are sensitive and painful
  • Chewing hard foods is painful
  • Braces haven't adapted to the mouth yet
  • You need proper nutrition for faster recovery

Important Note: This meal plan is only for the first three days. After that, you can gradually add softer foods.

Three-Day Meal Plan

Day 1: Soft foods like porridge, mashed banana, warm milk, soup, soft pasta, yogurt

Day 2: Scrambled eggs, soft bread soaked in milk, pureed vegetables, soft rice

Day 3: Gradually add slightly firmer but still soft foods

Important Tips

  • Eat small bites
  • Chew slowly and carefully
  • Avoid colored and industrial drinks in the first three days
  • Maintain oral hygiene after each meal
